Becoming a Super Star is very easy and affordable. Anyone can become a movie producer, director, song writer, music super star or what ever in the comfort of their home.

Youtube and affordable cameras, video and audio editing software, and musical equipment has made this a reality.

Just a few years ago the cost of just the film to shoot a short movie made it an impossibility for most people.

Now if you have a computer and an Internet connection you have the beginnings of what for just a few dollars more can be a lucrative business in the entertainment business.

I have spent the last few years learning what works and what doesn't. I will be discussing cameras, audio, copyright issues, and other related subjects such as software to aid you in developing your own Super stardom.

Your Computer

First off your going to need a computer with a sound card that has full duplex. Most lower priced laptops and PCs have onboard sound cards that are only half duplex. Full duplex is needed to record multiple tracks and listen to your already recorded tracks at the same time without re-recording those tracks onto your new track.

Because of copyright issues your most likely going to want to record your own music so as to have full rights to everything in your video.

Your Camera

For shooting video for the Internet there are some great video cameras for under a hundred dollars. But if you really want to shoot some really great video then I would suggest the Canon HFM40. The Canon HFM40 can be found on sale for as low as $350.00 but has a regular price of around $600.00 dollars.

The big difference between the cheaper cameras and the Canon is that you have manual control of all of your adjustment on the Canon. You can adjust the focus, exposure, f stop, and so on that will allow you to take professional videos.

Your Editing Software

I myself enjoy Vegas video editing software. But there are a lot of editing software out there. After Effects from Adobe is great for creating great CG effects and shooting with green screen. Both Vegas and Adobe allow trial downloads. Although I feel they charge way too much for their software. Rip off! That's why the Internet is full of ways to get around their limitations of their trial downloads.

Your Audio

Audio software is a lot easier to get. You have Audacity that is free and Reaper that is only $60.00 for most people, and has a fully working 30 day trial period.

Audacity is great for the home user, but Reaper is probably the greatest all in one audio production software on the market at any price. The people that created Reaper must of said to them selves "Lets make the best and easiest to use audio program ever made and lets sell it for a price of a good dinner.

To give you an example, you can hook up Reaper to multiple computers to give you more power to do what you need to do. It's the most you will ever need for your audio and midi recording and sampling.

Your Musical Equipment

As far as the musical equipment your going to need, you will need at least a midi piano and a guitar. With these two pieces of equipment you can produce just about any kind of music.

Drums are all over the Internet in midi and live samples of loops and full drum sets to just about any music you can think of at prices from free to very expensive.
